Re: Collins

Totally Collins fault, the ball was for him to deal with, he clearly was unaware of Adrian's position so should have put it out of harms way if he felt the Watford attacker was putting him under pressure instead he made a mistake in assuming the keepers position and gifted Deeney the chance.

Collins is a good defender if we are under constant pressure and has some protection in front of him but without that he is exposed and sadly no longer good enough at this level to face most Premier League attackers in that position.

In fairness I don't think any of our defenders inspire confidence in dealing with situations when isolated which I suppose this is what sets top defenders apart from the average ones at this level, sadly ours are not top drawer so are not good enough to compensate lack of defensive cover around them and we will get punished like we did today.

Re: Collins
No problem with his selection, Ogbonna was comfortably the worst of the 3 at man city, but he had a mare so should be left out and Ogbonna recalled. No problem, that's how it should be

Love the bloke but he has to be dropped after today's horror-show.

Christ.

Adrians fault for the equalizer got far too close to Collins

Ogbonna hasn't looked too good yet this season either.

Re: Collins
I personally don't think we have a good centreback pairing.

Reid is ok individually, Ogbonna is good individually, and Collins is immense in a backs to the wall siege type situation.

Reid shouldn't be in the team for me. Ogbonna is the best individually, and he played best when with Collins.

That Aymen Abdennour was available this window. Dynamic aggressive organiser...he was what we needed.

Whilst I like Reid individually...he shouldn't be there currently.

One of our best players last season..

But this is this season. He's not good enough and ogbonna has to start over him.

Alex, so what, that was last season.

Re: Collins
I like Ginge, but Reid, Og and Tomka are all better centre backs. Tomkins is probably the weakest of the 3 so I can understand why he was sold given his age and marketability - but I wasn't a fan of it at the time and so far this season it's looking like more of a bizarre decision. I'd have happily taken a million or so for ginge and kept Tomka.

Mr bilic

Pitch too big for 33 year old Collins

Not his fault he is slow

Young 6'5 fast Centre half needed errrr - we have one

Oh yes and a left sided Centre half - oh we have o e

Three midgets in midfield - err outmuscled

WAKE UP SLAVEN - defense first

Central defender not debtor.

Re: Collins
The best debtors half was sitting on the bench . Why the fuck we play Collins over ogbonna is beyond me and Byram is not good enough yet, drop Collins and Bryam when the spaniards fit and the defence will be fine.

Selling Tomkins was fucking mental.

Re: Collins
You are such a lying piece of shit colly.

My point was that we should never have sold Tomkins as he is better than Collins who billic prefers to Ogbonna. I also said that I don't rate Ogbonna that highly and that Billic seemed to agree.

13 Brentford Rd 6:42 Sat Sep 10
Re: Collins
Said it time and time again on here since we stupidly sold him that it was a big mistake to get rid of Tomkins.
Also saud time and time again that the jury is still out on Oggy and Billic seems to agree.

Idiotic decision even more so as Billic prefers an ageing lump like Collins to the CB HE SIGNED.

The usual cunts disagreed if course.
